Obituary for Margaret Desneiges Mary Tremblay

May 8, 1953 – August 9, 2019

Margaret was born May 8th, 1953 in Vancouver, BC. She passed away August 9th, 2019 after being diagnosed with Lung Cancer in February 2019. Marg was preceded in death by her parents Andre and Madelyne Tremblay. She is survived by her son, Joseph Tremblay, her sister, Gisele Muster, brother in-law, Kerry Muster, brother Stephen Tremblay, sister in-law, Patty Tremblay, brother, Jean Claude Tremblay, sister in-law, Wanda Tremblay, nieces, nephews, grand niece, grand nephews and many loving family and friends.

Marg had been working at the BC Ferries’ Retail Shop for several years and had held a similar position at in retail shops at the Vancouver Airport for many years before that. Marg was a natural born leader, both in work, and at home. Marg’s most wonderful trait was her ability to love everyone and everything that came into her life. Her strength as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend was amazingly evident, right up into her final days. She didn’t complain about pain or discomfort.

Marg will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 1pm-4pm at Place Maillardville, 1200 Cartier Ave, Coquitlam, BC. Please park in the Place Maillardville lot, or on the street. Parking in the church parking lot is not allowed. As per Marg’s wishes, there is no need to wear black attire, she wanted us to celebrate and have fun.
