Obituary for Kenneth Harry Best

Ken Best passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ken was born in New Westminster, BC, December 10, 1950. Ken grew up in Surrey, BC and attended Princess Margaret Senior Secondary. He graduated from college in Western Washington. His career as a teacher took him to Fort St. John, BC. After retiring from teaching, Ken spent his later years in the lower mainland.
Ken was predeceased by his wonderful parents, Kay and Ken Best. Ken is survived by his son, Micah, (Maude), his two stepchildren, Jillian and Justin, his sister, Betty-Lou (Eric), nephew Scott, (Cheryl) and (grand nieces/nephew) Kamiko, Kiyomi and Kyle, as well as his loving extended family and good friends.
Those who knew Ken will smile, happily remembering the wonderful ways he touched their lives.
We will miss your cheeky smile, your sense of humour and your twinkly blue eyes. We love you Ken!
In his last few months, Ken was cared for at St John Hospice. The family is deeply grateful to all the staff for their kindness and dedicated caring both to Ken, his family and friends.
