Obituary for James Blundell Croil
March 7, 1956 – October 7, 2023
Jamie passed away at Vancouver General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jamie is survived by his partner Jovana Petrovska, his beloved daughter Amber, Jovana's son Marko Kostoski, his brother Tom, sister-in-law Sheryl and their families. Predeceased by his brother Gordon, his mother Heather and his father George. He was a loving and caring partner, father, brother and a friend, who was truly loved by everyone who knew him.
Jamie will be remembered by the music community in Vancouver and beyond for his legacy as a musician (trumpet player, singer, arranger and composer) and a longtime member of the Dal Richards Orchestra, the Wildroot Orchestra, VEJI Orchestra, Gary Guthman Orchestra, Dave Robbins Big Band and many more.

Jamie's Celebration for Life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 1:30 pm at St. Andrew's Wesley Church on 100 - 1022 Nelson Street in Vancouver.
