It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Ng En Ze, who left us unexpectedly on the September 1st, 2025. Jeremy is survived by his parents Jesse Ng, Joanne Chong and sister Yvonne Ng.
Jeremy was a beloved son, brother, and friend Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain in our hearts. His kindness, humour, and generosity touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Jeremy was born in Malaysia in 1995, and moved to Newfoundland at the age of 19 to pursue his studies in English Literature at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He eventually settled down in Vancouver, where he completed significant milestones, such as attaining his Canadian citizenship.
Jeremy was known for his compassionate spirit, quick humour, and the virtues of kindness and integrity that illuminated his life. He had a deep passion for reading fantasy novels, immersing himself in imaginative worlds that sparked his creativity. Jeremy also loved playing third-person viewpoint games, appreciating not only the immersive stories but also the intricate strategy involved in mastering these games. Outside of these interests, he found joy in cooking meals for his friends, creative writing and stargazing.
