Obituary for Gerald Lawrence Norman Osbourne

January 22, 1947 – May 4, 2023

Gerry passed peacefully on the afternoon of May 4, 2023 with his wife Lin at his side, after a long struggle with the effects of Cancer and treatments.

Known in the Moving Industry as the 'Go To Guy' as 'what you don't know ask Gerry O'. For decades he worked with and trained many who are now with their own companies...and many remaining close friends.

Gerry left behind those to mourn and to celebrate his life: His wife Lin, his precious adult children Leilani (Kerwin), Christopher, Robert and Robin (Wilson) along with all of their respective families. Brother Don (Moira) Osbourne and their adult children Suzie Andrews, Scott, Kelly and Thomas Jeffrey (Loretta), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren on both sides. And he cherished visits with any who would come by.

Everyone he met was impressed by his laidback nature. Long time friends were naturally considered family of his.

His wish was that a 'Celebration of his life' be held amongst those who would gather in his memory outdoors, as this was his favorite place to be. He loved camping and canoeing, while he wisely left fishing to the wife. He enjoyed a firepit, be it in the yard or at the lake. Water seemed to draw him in. When the farm flooded, he grabbed the canoe....and paddled away!

He will live on in all our hearts … FOREVER.

Dearly missed by me…. Mrs. O
