Obituary for Ottaviano Passarella
May 28, 1936 – September 28, 2022
Ottaviano Passarella was born on May 28, 1936 to Gino Passarella and Lorenza Ferro in Chioggia, Venezia Italy. He traveled to Canada with his older brother Mario, and in looking for more opportunities they traveled in 1961 to the United States. Ottaviano worked side by side with his older brother Mario in their own Italian Statuary Shop located in Redwood City where they manufactured interior and exterior statues. Ottaviano was loved by his family, enjoyed traveling to Japan, spoke three languages English, Italian and Japanese.
Ottaviano, was a resident of Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada for 30 years in Little Italy. He made many friends throughout the years and enjoyed his walks and wine. He enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, cooking and staying handsomely fashionable.
Ottaviano was a strong, loving, caring man who overcame many obsticles during these last days. Our Beloved passed on September 28, 2022 at 6:35am, where he then went into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be missed and remembered by all his loved ones. Ottaviano is survived by his daughters Gina Passarella, Lorenza Passarella, and ex-wife Jean, Brother Mario Passarella, and family Moreno Passarella, Francine Passarella, Karlena Passarella, Adriana Passarella. We Love You!
