Obituary for Jeffrey Gordon Sieniewicz

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Gordon Sieniewicz, aged 42, on April 15 in Burnaby, BC. Born and raised in Lunenburg, NS, Jeff graduated from Park View Education Centre. He later continued his studies in Nanaimo, BC, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and making his home on the West Coast.
During his time in Nova Scotia, Jeff was often found on the fairways at Osprey Ridge or Lunenburg Golf Course, where he captured several club championships. A passionate sports enthusiast, he never backed down from a lively debate about athletes or teams, always ready with impressive statistics to support his arguments.
Jeff was also a gifted writer who published a book and took great pride in the development of his literary talent. He shared a close bond with his parents, especially cherishing time with his mother over her home cooking and valuing any time spent talking with his father.
Jeff is lovingly remembered by his parents, Ronald and Elizabeth Sieniewicz; his brother and best friend, Greg Sieniewicz, and sister-in-law, Leah; his cherished niece and nephew, Ivy and Drew; his uncle, Paul Daniels (Debra); and many beloved cousins.
In lieu of flowers, honour Jeff’s memory by taking a walk by the ocean, playing a round of golf, and sharing a meal with someone you love.
