Obituary for Thomas David Joseph Turcotte
January 1, 1987 - May 8, 2026
With a heavy heart we announce the passing of my son Thomas David Joseph Turcotte. He passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital Vancouver, on May 8, 2026, surrounded by some of those who loved him dearly.
Thomas lived his life to the fullest, wearing his heart on his sleeve. He had a heart of gold.
He loved his children with all his heart and soul and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Thomas fought like no other to survive for himself and for his children.
Thomas always loved & had so much passion for the outdoors. Whether it be hunting, fishing, berry and mushroom picking, or Agate hunting with his children. Thomas loved to cook it didn’t matter where he was, he would help and take over if you let him.
He also had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. He was such a great story teller. He had a smile and laugh that would light up any room and gave the greatest hugs. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Thomas, will carry a piece of him for eternity.
Thomas was predeceased by his grandparents Doris & Bert Raymond, Yvette & Gerald Turcotte; his uncles Rick, Greg, Terry and Ron. He leaves behind his children: his son Taven, daughters Hartlynn, and Autumn; his mother Jennifer (Mark), his father Daniel, his sisters Kayla (Jason), Chantelle (Christian), Shannon, Sarah (Thomas), cousin Christopher who was more like a brother than a cousin; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Thomas will be held at a later date.
Forever in our hearts, My Son... You will be dearly missed by all.
