A cremation service that allows families to witness the start of cremation process, following a simple 30-minute open-casket viewing and chapel time immediately before witnessing. Includes coordination, transportation and professional staff’s attendance at the witnessing event. This includes everything that Amherst Cremation Package covers: transfer from hospitals, shelter, registration, cremation/chapel/witnessing fees, taxes and:
- Preparation & dressing of the deceased (no Embalming)
- Amherst’s exclusive satin-covered cremation container
- 1 (one) original death certificate, 2 (two) notarized copies, 1 (one) certified copy and 10 photocopies
- 1 (one) Amherst Cherry-finished wood urn
- Return of the ashes within 2 (two) business days from the date of witnessing.
- in-person delivery of the ashes (within BC Lower Mainland)

Basic Professional Duties & Services $676.19
Convenient arrangement at your home or office (or arrange entirely online at your own convenience)
Removal of the deceased from place of passing.
Transfers of the body to our sheltering facility and to our crematorium.

Obtaining all required releases, permits, and death certificates (including registration with Vital Statistics BC).
Expedited delivery of cremated remains and death certificates to you in 2 (two) business days from the final cremation date.
